We Care Elementary

The intended audience for the program is students in 3rd-6th Grades. Each module is 30 minutes in length.

We Care Elementary is a developmentally targeted, trauma-informed sexual abuse prevention program for elementary school communities.  We Care Elementary focuses on building children’s healthy relationship skills through multimodal, highly experiential lessons.  The program focuses on different topics at each grade level that address the risk and protective factors related to victimization and perpetration.

3rd Grade: Communicating and Understanding Feelings

4th Grade: Understanding Personal Boundaries

5th Grade: Recognizing Boundaries in Others

6th Grade: Understanding Sexual Harassment

We Care Elementary offers a Training of Trainers Model where SOH staff will provide training to teachers, counselors and other school staff to be able to teach the program.
