This 1.5 – 3 hour training program is designed to assist K-12 School Staff and Administration in effectively preparing to teach Personal Safety and Violence Prevention in accordance with the Department of Education Health Standards.
This training focuses on how the entire school community can engage in creating a safer space for students while teaching the prevention of sexual violence in all of its forms. Attendees will develop an understanding of the different forms of sexual violence, how it impacts students and learning, and how to create trauma-informed spaces. This training prepares schools to implement the child safety standards that mandates sexual violence curriculum be taught in all K-12 schools by giving school staff background knowledge and awareness about sexual violence and the impact of trauma.
