Child Assault Prevention Program (CAP)

This program is offered in elementary schools with a target audience of 1st-3rd Graders. The program lasts approximately 90 minutes.

This interactive workshop includes teaching children their rights to be safe from all harm.  Students learn empowerment skills to protect themselves from bullies and other abusers, and are taught ways to keep themselves safe from strangers, including those on the internet. We help children recognize tactics that abusers use to trick kids into victimization (which includes people they know and/or love), and discuss safe, healthy body boundaries which include the topics of safe touch vs. unsafe touch as well as safe secrets vs. unsafe secrets. This program has been reviewed by the Clark County School District.
