Learn More About the SOH Counseling Center Staff

We are proud of how the Signs of Hope Counseling Center continues to grow. We’ve added 25 weekly counseling hours, allowing us to serve more survivors of sexual violence than ever before. We are now able to offer counseling appointments 5 days a week, for people of all ages, in three languages (English, Spanish, and Farsi). We’re also able to provide support groups for adults, teens, parents of survivors, and survivors of trafficking, as well as specialized therapeutic services like weekly yoga and art therapy for survivors. Circle of 6 was a first place winner in the White House’s Apps Against Abuse challenge. We encourage people to download this or a similar safety app to have this available on their phones. This tool allows users to instantly and discreetly access their 5 most trustworthy friends should they find themselves in need of help or in an unsafe situation. Your Gifts Make a Big Difference!

With our community’s backing, we have delivered resources and support to tens of thousands of Nevadans in the immediate aftermath and long-term recovery following sexual abuse and assault. Our clients include people of all backgrounds, genders, and ages. Services such as transportation assistance, some of our support groups and counseling, and even the clean set of clothing we give to survivors at the hospital are services made possible from donations from our community are not always covered by grant funding. There are multiple ways to support our mission below.
