Signs of Hope Asks Las Vegans to Celebrate “A Night Out”

Thursday, November 21 at TAO Nightclub

WHAT: “A Night Out” benefiting Signs of Hope. The public is invited to participate in a fun night out Thursday, Nov. 21 at The Opium Room inside TAO Nightclub at The Venetian. Long-standing community partners of Signs of Hope, Tao Group, generously host the annual event, now in its seventh year. Honorees include Wendy Losada, who will be recognized for her service and dedication as she reaches her 10-year milestone with Signs of Hope, and Lieutenant David Valenta, who will be recognized for his leadership in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit.  Zappos for Good and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas are sponsoring this year’s event.

Admission is only $75 in advance or at the door and includes hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktail, entertainment, raffle and a silent auction featuring a variety of dining, gift items and staycation opportunities. Sponsorships starting at just $250 also are available. More information on tickets and sponsorships may be found at rcclv.org.

Signs of Hope is calling on the community to show its support, buy a ticket and kick off the season of giving to help the organization and the thousands of survivors of sexual assault and abuse who are assisted with crisis support and counseling each year.

WHY: In 2018, Signs of Hope volunteers and staff responded to 727 victims of sexual assault at the hospital, handled 4,214 calls to the hotline – a 20 percent increase over the previous year – and helped a record number of counseling clients. SOH expanded its office space in February of 2019 to help manage the increasing demand for services.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Opium Room inside TAO Nightclub

3377 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
