The Rape Crisis Center has provided crisis intervention, long-term support, counseling, and prevention education in southern Nevada for over 40 years. You can help us continue our mission of offering Help, Hope, and Healing to those affected by sexual violence by supporting our vital programs.
Your Gifts Make a Big Difference!
With our community’s backing, we have delivered resources and support to tens of thousands of Nevadans in the immediate aftermath and long-term recovery following sexual abuse and assault. Our clients include people of all backgrounds, genders, and ages. Services such as transportation assistance, some of our support groups and counseling, and even the clean set of clothing we give to survivors at the hospital are services made possible from donations from our community are not always covered by grant funding. There are multiple ways to support our mission below.
What Your Gift Can Do
$25 – Fresh clothing for victim-survivors at UMC
$50 – Transportation to and from counseling
$100 – Counseling session
$250 – Emergency transportation and food
$500 – Social outing for the S.T.R.O.N.G. youth group (Info here)
Our annual events provide an excellent opportunity for your organization or group to enjoy an outing while supporting the work of the RCC. Two events, held in April and November of every year, are ample opportunities for sponsorship and attendance.

“A Night Out with News3”, our annual benefit cocktail party features a live DJ, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a raffle, and silent auction. For more information, contact Carmella at (702) 385-2153. Denim Day, an international day of awareness, is celebrated at The Rape Crisis Center with a benefit fashion show and luncheon. This annual event features designer fashions, survivor models, music, and fun in a family-friendly atmosphere. For more information contact Carmella at (702) 385-2153.
